Yorokee Kapimbua

Founder and Chairman

He is a Chevening Scholar with an MSc in Policy Research from the University of Bristol in the UK and over 18 years experience in policy research and practice. He previously studied for a Masters in Social Work at the University of Utah in the USA. His country expertise includes Angola, Botswana and Namibia with research interests on labour market activation policies and youth employment.

Botho Kebabonye Bayendi

Vice Chairman

Ms Botho Kebabonye is a seasoned leader with over 19 years work experience, including over a decade service as an Executive in the Botswana Parastatal and Government job market. Botho is the Chief Executive Officer of the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC).

Prof. Happy Siphambe

Labour Economist

Professor Happy Siphambe is a Professor of Economics at the University of Botswana where he has been based for the last 34 years. He has served as Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (Feb 2019-April 2020) and Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (May 2020- December 2021) at the University of Botswana.

Prof. Tebogo Bruce Seleka

Welfare Economist

Prof Seleka has over 25 years research experience in the public policy analysis space. His research covers a wide spectrum of areas including public policy, development economics (poverty and inequality, welfare and social protection), production economics, international trade and Agribusiness.

Game Dibeela

Democracy, Peace and Humanitarian Support

Game Dibeela is an experienced International Development practitioner with extensive experience in democracy, electoral, peace and humanitarian support. She is currently a Commissioner for the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Review of the Constitution of Botswana.

Pascaline Lorato Sefawe

Corporate Governance

Pascaline is an accomplished financial professional and strategist, with more than 20 years’ experience in the areas of financial management, project management, risk management, governance, and strategic planning. Her experience spans various industries; automobile, development finance, property development and estate management.

Dr. Portia Tshegofatso Loeto

Gender and Education Expert

Dr Portia Tshegofatso Loeto is a Gender Studies academic at The University of Botswana. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Gender and Cultural Studies from The University of Sydney in Australia, a Master of Education (Gender Education), Bachelor of Arts (Humanities), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) collectively from The University of Botswana as well as a Certificate – Gender & Sexuality: Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace from The University of Pittsburgh, USA.

Ntsholeng Thabana

Corporate Governance

Ms. Thabana is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the finance field. She has worked in various industries ranging from banking, property development and estate management, manufacturing, health services, legal services and public service. Ms Thabana has been involved in different finance activities among others including financial management, management accounting, financial reporting, treasury management and budgeting.
